The saddest past life vision I’ve had so far was that of 2 young sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice.
My client came to me for help in clearing blocks that were preventing her from finding a long lasting relationship. She had never been lucky in love.
During the healing session…
I saw what felt like 1820s middle America. My client (as a young girl) was standing on the edge of a cliff with her younger sister. I felt the younger sister was now her mother (in this lifetime). Back then, they were sisters aged in their tweens. I could feel the sense of hopelessness they had about their lives.
They had been treated very badly by the men in their lives, and they were fast approaching a marriageable age. She was already promised to an older man. And on her 14th birthday she would marry him. She didn’t have a say in the matter.
A life of continued misery at the hands of another man was all she could see for herself. She was tired of being the property of someone else. Tired of the abuse. She felt she only had one choice left that was completely her own. Her little sister knew what the situation was because her life was destined to follow the same path just a year or so later.
I watched as they stood side by side looking out at the landscape. Holding hands, they made a pact, “They will never hurt us again”.
Obviously I couldn’t stop them.
But what I could do was help release them from the pain of the situation. Help them to forgive everyone involved. Be at peace with the timeline they found themselves in. And in doing so I was able to shift something that my client had been carrying her whole life.
After the session…
In my post-healing debrief, I was quite emotional recounting the story to my client. It was like a scene from the movie Thelma & Louise except it involved a couple of sisters in the 1800s. My client was amazed. She told me that her mother is like her sister and she too hasn’t had great luck with men.
Amazing how all the pieces start to fit together!
Past lives can affect us in many ways – typically it’s a part of ourselves that is trying to protect us in this lifetime. But at some point we need to lay it to rest so that we can move forward.
