Allow me explain why it helped me to to think of life as a cartoon filled with fairies, mermaids & dragons.
As mentioned in other posts, I did a course on Channelling. It was during this course that I learnt about some of the many levels of existence – angels, the star people (eg Pleiadeans) (including my star family), ascended masters, Gods & Goddesses. These levels of existence are the different dimensions.
But dimensions can be hard to get your head around. And understanding the relationship (if any) between them makes my brain hurt. As a student of traditional cell animation and multimedia, I found approaching the concept of dimensions as layers of acetate or photoshop layers helpful.
2011 was an eye opening year for me. I heard many stories and had many experiences at the workshops I did that year. But at some level I struggled to believe some of the stuff I was being told when I wasn’t able to see, feel or hear it myself.
This was simply because I had not seen any evidence of the things that they were talking about. For example, people would tell me about fairies, but at the time I hadn’t seen any. It was odd – at a surface level I was sceptical but for some reason deep inside I knew it to be true…it just made sense somehow.
My journey so far
My tiny journey (of 4 years) into energy work so far has taught me that there are different levels of existence. Below is my very basic explanation of how I currently understand things – I’m sure more experienced and powerful psychics would be able to expand (even correct) the following. But for now this is where I am at. And I thought this may also help others who are new to this stuff understand it better.
Who’s on what level?
We exist on one level (commonly referred to as the third dimension). We can see and interact very easily with other beings and things that exist in this level. Some of us however get glimpses into other levels/dimensions. And- as I’m learning- there are a lot of other levels.
Angels, spirit guides (including animal), star people, etc exist on higher levels (many describe these beings as existing somewhere between the 5th and the 12th dimension). Typically we associate these to be guardians/guides of people.
‘Elementals‘ is a term used to describe fairies, goblins, mermaids, dragons and other (what many consider) mythological creatures. They are typically the guardians/guides of animals, plants and nature generally. As I understand it, elementals exist on their own ‘level’ as well.
Elementals are a mix of a one of the 4 elements:
- earth
- wind
- fire
- water
Plus the 5th element – the life spark.
Humans are all 5 elements and this makes us very dense (in more ways than one bahahaha). Elementals will consist of only 2 elements – one of which will be the ‘life spark’. So for example, an elemental might be made of water and life (resulting in a water sprite or mermaid), or fire and life (giving us a dragon).
Although they are strongly associated with nature, many people also have spirit guides from this level. I have no idea about how or if they interact with any of the other levels.
Elementals: the forgotten spirit guides
Anyone new to energy work and metaphysics will wonder as I did, why have the elementals been forgotten about (comparative to angels etc) and relegated to children’s fairy tales.
As far as I can tell, it seems that at some stage in our distant history humans and elementals interacted regularly but something happened – perhaps people started to believe in the power of industry and technology and forgot how to listen to their surroundings and this in turn made the fairies remove themselves from this reality level…or perhaps it was us that moved away from their reality level.
And they don’t do themselves any favours either as they are notoriously shy and elusive. They are much harder to see than their angelic counterparts. From what I understand they only reveal themselves to people who are very pure of heart and who they can trust – which is why it’s mainly kids that can see them (before life gets in and shuts it down).
Learning about Elementals
I have Ellie the fairie as a guide but when she first appeared I didn’t know she was a fairie. Doreen Virtues “Fairies 101” book is a fantastic starting point for anyone keen to learn more about them. After reading it and putting into practice as much of it as I could, I started to glimpse tiny fairies around my dog on occasion. And Brian Frouds illustrations in his “Good Faery/Bad Faery” book are spot on – at least the ones that look like light emitting sparkly balls. This is the type of fairies I’ve seen.
Four years on from my first workshops, my mind is now boggling with the idea that if I can see fairies, angels, spirit guides (human and animal) then whose to say that the other mythical animals aren’t real. I’ve now reached a point where I really wouldn’t be surprised if they existed also.
How is this like a cartoon or photoshop file?
I like to think of these levels as ‘layers of reality’ – much like layers in photoshop or traditional hand drawn animation – with layers of acetate containing different characters. From this perspective life is like a cartoon with creatures inhabiting their own layer of plastic.
Imagine you have a solid background image (aka third dimension), on top of this you place a clear sheet of plastic onto which you have painted an angel. And on top of this you place another clear piece of plastic on to which you have painted a fairy. Obviously God/source (ie the director in the animation example) can see the whole ‘universe’ but perhaps each character can only see what is on their layer of plastic??? Who knows. I’m sure it’s more complicated than that. But just my musings on the complexity of life.
